Since 2000 the program has helped more than 2,000 families affected by domestic violence. The money will be used to fund the advocacy program as well as provide education to the community. Thanks to all our supporters! Plans are underway for the 8th annual Golf Classic that will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Timber Lakes Golf Course in Staunton. Domestic Violence is an ongoing problem in Macoupin County and the Safe Families program assists domestic violence victims in obtaining orders of protection, safety planning, counseling, transportation and community referrals.
