The Macoupin County Public Health Department, a local county government service, is supported through Federal, State and County taxes.  The department is governed by a Board of Health which is appointed by the Macoupin County Board.

The purpose of the Macoupin County Public Health Department is to preserve, protect, and promote the health of the residents of Macoupin County.  To carry out this purpose, a variety of services are offered.  These services are briefly described through this web site.  For more information, please contact the Macoupin County Public Health Department at any of the two Offices.
